y reading this article this very moment it tells me that you are looking for information on how to get rid of hickeys. There are many suggestions out there on how to get rid of hickeys or how to get rid of a hickey. But there is no quick and fast way to do this.

A hickey is nothing more than a bruise, and like all bruises it's just not going to go away immediately. It will take some time to get rid of it because it is an accumulation of blood in one area. But there are a few ways to make it fade faster. You'll just need to have patience.

You can minimize the mark by immediately applying ice to the afflicted area. The ice will constrict blood vessels and prevent the bruises from spreading. The problem is this only works if you catch the hickey soon enough.

If you have a hickey that lasts for more than 48 hours, you can use warm water. All you do is use a face cloth and apply a wet warm face cloth over the hickey spot. This can help reduce the swelling and consequently, make it fade away. You can do this repeatedly until the hickey disappears.

Just like any other bruise, it will probably take some days before the hickey fades away. So have patience. If you need to hide or cover it so that no one will notice, you can utilize a turtleneck sweater, a scarf, or use makeup to cover it up.

Basically, I've already seen these few tips on four other pages. The thing that works best for me is applying a thin layer of tooth paste on the hickey and leave it there for an hour. It fades quickly. Just make sure to wash it off.
